How you bring creativity and innovation to your work

For me it starts with listening—really listening. People around me have the freedom to talk. I ask hard questions and dig deep. The best innovations and the most impactful work are born out of collaborative problem solving.

About a recent project you’re proud of

A few years ago, I created a team specializing in Medical Legal Regulatory Content Management and Submissions. They thrive in the space many dislike. Our “Submissions Excellence Dashboard” now tracks quantitative data and offers diagnostic action planning for both client and agency process advancements. It tells the beautiful story of a crossroad between data and human problem-solving. For an MLR nerd like me, it’s a passion project that’s come to life and makes me so proud.

What you’re most excited about right now in the health space

We’re finally seeing personalized messaging, creative imagery in campaigns and open talk about health issues that were once culturally taboo. 

What it means to you to be selected as a Clio Health Innovator

This is big for me. I feel seen. I hope it shows others that creative operations and processes can be just as sexy as copy or art. This recognition validates my work in making a meaningful and positive impact.

There’s only a few more days to submit nominations for the second-annual Clio Health Innovators, celebrating those who work behind the scenes to drive and support creativity at agencies, health brands and wellness organizations.

It’s free to nominate someone, and multiple nominations from the same organization are OK. Self-nominations, however, are not. Winners will be announced in May and featured at the Clio Health Awards in June.

Nominees must be health marketing (or marketing adjacent) professionals working at an agency, brand or health/wellness firm. They may be at any stage in their careers. Clio defines such innovators as behind-the-scenes all-stars who contribute to campaigns and communications in meaningful ways.

They can come from practically any discipline, including marketing, creative, strategy, account services, medical, R&D, product innovation, comms, care and engineering. Clio’s seeking unsung heroes who deserve to be honored for driving companies forward in this dynamic sector.

They are largely unsung talents who deserve a greater spotlight on what they are doing to drive their companies forward in this dynamic sector.
